Options

Body: QP or Base64 to 8bit

Converts QP or Base64 encoded message body to 8bit for clients which cannot decode such encoding.

Headers: QP or Base64 to 8bit

Converts QP or Base64 encoded message headers to 8bit for clients which cannot decode such encoding.

Outlook: Bad signature fix

Adds a trailing space to Outlook signature delimiter ('--' i.e. only two dashes).
This bug occurs only in OE when messages are encoded in 8bit. OE encoded 7bit messages have a valid signature delimiter.

Outlook: Bad 'RE :' in Subject: fix

Outlook 2003 inserts a space between the RE and the colon in the replies and other mailers do not consider it as a reply tag.
This option deletes this extra space.

Clear trailing lines

Takes off all empty lines at the end of the message.
Lines with only spaces and/or tabs are considered empty when processed by this option.

Add 'Lines:' header

Adds a 'Lines:' header.

Clear advertising footer

For incoming mailing lists messages converted to local newsgroup articles only (See .
Erases annoying advertising footers always added at the end of some mailing lists messages.
You must set up the MListFilt.hst file.

Incoming Mails

This section is for incoming mail messages, i.e. messages fetched from POP3 remote servers or received by the Hamster SMTP server for local accounts.

Incoming News (and Mail to News gateway)

This section is for incoming news articles (from remote NNTP servers) and mail messages converted to local newsgroup articles.

Outgoing Mails

This section is for outgoing mail messages, i.e. messages sent to Hamster SMTP server for remote SMTP servers or local accounts.

Outgoing News (and News to Mail gateway)

This section is for outgoing news articles, i.e. articles sent to the Hamster NNTP server for remote NNTP servers, local newsgroups or articles converted to mail messages (mailing lists and articles directly sent to moderators).
